A Word To The Backslider

Your are a Coward and Selfish!
You have given up on the Word of God. You are wearing a parachute full of holes because you put on the trust of your own words to righteously save you. You cannot rely on your own righteousness to save you. If you know the Ten Commandments and say that you abide in them (Gal. 5:18), then you are a liar! You broke the first and second Law. You made God in your own image, making yourself happy in a God you choose. You believe in a God that is all good and will never make you sad or angry. You made a God you could never hate. That is a false God. One that does not exist! You are weak in faith and that is why you have fallen. You believed in what the world tells you and you defaced Jehovah from your life. God has given you Jesus of Nazareth, God in the flesh. You can believe him, or you can trust him. You never trusted him! And still you don't trust God, only to the way you want Him to be. You only believe there is a God, and THAT will not save you. That is why you fail to believe (to accept the scripture to be true, and to have confidence and faith in it). Only if one believes in something can one act purposefully. You fail to look into yourself. Look into the mirror! Everyone who is proud of themselves will not look at themselves in the mirror because they are afraid of what they will see in themselves, who they really are, and the condemnation of God they don't want to face; the truth of themselves.

I say to you, don't look back to your faults and transgressions in case you become with your sin. Look forward to what you can be with God. Look at what you will become if you allow Him to burn within you. Some people are baptized with the Holy Spirit but fail to let God baptize them with the flame. Burn in His fire and become the person He wants you to be. Then, others will praise you for your strength in Him, and you will not fear any man. You will be a bearer of good fruit!

If you call yourself a Christian, first look a the 9 fruits of the Spirit a Christian should bear. If not, you are not a Christian! (Galations 5:16-26)

Galations 5:22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Living By Faith: Trusting God

I had nothing when God came to me. It wasn't fear of death that turned me towards Him. It was the fear of my life of disobedience to Him.
Deal with your guilt! God can and will set you free!

Failure to Feed New Converts & Results

1 Cor 10:12, Gal 5:22–23, Eph 2:8–9, 2 Tim 2:1–4, 2 Pet 1:12, 2, 18, 19, 3:10–11, 17–18

Be Diligent to Grow Spiritually (2 Peter 3:17-18)

There are four “beloved” statements in 2 Peter 3 which summarize what Peter wanted to get across as he brought his second letter to a close.

“Beloved... be mindful” (c).

“Beloved, be not ignorant” (3:8).

“Beloved... be diligent” (3:14).

“Beloved... beware” (3:17).

The word translated “beware” means “be constantly guarding yourself.”

Peter’s readers knew the truth, but he warned them that knowledge not sufficient protection.

They had to be on their guard; they had to be alert. It is easy for people who have a knowledge of the Bible to grow overconfident and to forget the warning, “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall” (1 Cor. 10:12).

What special danger did Peter see? That the true believers would be “led away together with the error of the wicked” (literal translation). He is warning us against breaking down the walls of separation that must stand between the true believers and the false teachers. There can be no communion between truth and error. The apostates “live in error” (2 Peter 2:18), while true believers live in the sphere of the truth (2 John 1-2).

The word wicked (2 Peter 3:17) means “the lawless.” Peter’s description of the apostates in 2 Peter 2 reveals how lawless they are. They even speak evil of the authorities that seek to enforce God’s Law in this world! (2 Peter 2:10-11) They promise their converts freedom (2 Peter 2:19), but that freedom turns out to be lawlessness.

True Christians cannot fall from salvation and be lost, but they can fall from their own “steadfastness.” What was this steadfastness? Being “established in the present truth” (2 Peter 1:12). The stability of the Christian comes from his faith in the Word of God, his knowledge of that Word, and his ability to use that Word in the practical decisions of life.

One of the great tragedies of evangelism is bringing “spiritual babies” into the world and then failing to feed them, nurture them, and help them develop. The apostates prey on young believers who have “very recently escaped” from the ways of error (2 Peter 2:18). New believers need to be taught the basic doctrines of the Word of God; otherwise, they will be in danger of being “led away with the error of the lawless.”

How can we as believers maintain our steadfastness and avoid being among the “unstable souls” who are easily beguiled and led astray? By growing spiritually. “But be constantly growing” is the literal translation. We should not grow “in spurts,” but in a constant experience of development.

We must grow “in grace.” This has to do with Christian character traits, the very things Peter wrote about in 2 Peter 1:5-7, and that Paul wrote about in Galatians 5:22-23. We were saved by grace (Eph. 2:8-9), but grace does not end there! We must also be strengthened by grace (2 Tim. 2:1-4). God’s grace can enable us to endure suffering (2 Cor. 12:7-10). His grace also helps us to give when giving is difficult (2 Cor. 8:1ff) and to sing when singing is difficult (Col. 3:16).

Our God is “the God of all grace” (1 Peter 5:10), who “giveth grace unto the humble” (James 4:6). As we study His Word, we learn about the various aspects of grace that are available to us as children of God. We are stewards of “the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10). There is grace for every situation and every challenge of life. “But by the grace of God I am what I am” wrote Paul (1 Cor. 15:10), and that should be our testimony as well.

Growing in grace often means experiencing trials and even suffering. We never really experience the grace of God until we are at the end of our own resources. The lessons learned in the “school of grace” are always costly lessons, but they are worth it. To grow in grace means to become more like the Lord Jesus Christ, from whom we receive all the grace that we need (John 1:16).

We must also grow in knowledge. How easy it is to grow in knowledge but not in grace! All of us know far more of the Bible than we really live. Knowledge without grace is a terrible weapon, and grace without knowledge can be very shallow. But when we combine grace and knowledge, we have a marvelous tool for building our lives and for building the church.

But note that we are challenged to grow, not just in knowledge of the Bible, as good as that is, but “in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” It is one thing to “know the Bible,” and quite another thing to know the Son of God, the central theme of the Bible. The better we know Christ through the Word, the more we grow in grace; the more we grow in grace, the better we understand the Word of God.

So, the separated Christian must constantly be guarding himself, lest he be led away into error; he also must be constantly growing in grace and knowledge. This requires diligence! It demands discipline and priorities. Nobody automatically drifts into spiritual growth and stability, but anybody can drift out of dedication and growth. “For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it” (Heb. 2:1, nasb). Just as the boat needs the anchor, so the Christian needs the Word of God.

Physical growth and spiritual growth follow pretty much the same pattern. To begin with, we grow from the inside out. “As newborn babes” is the way Peter illustrated it (1 Peter 2:2). The child of God is born with everything he needs for growth and service (2 Peter 1:3). All he needs is the spiritual food and exercise that will enable him to develop. He needs to keep clean. We grow by nutrition, not by addition!

We grow best in a loving family, and this is where the local church comes in. A baby needs a family for protection, provision, and affection. Tests prove that babies who are raised alone, without special love, tend to develop physical and emotional problems very early. The church is God’s “nursery” for the care and feeding of Christians, the God-ordained environment that encourages them to grow.

It is important that we grow in a balanced way. The human body grows in a balanced way with the various limbs working together; likewise the “spiritual man” must grow in a balanced way. We must grow in grace and knowledge (2 Peter 3:18), for example. We must keep a balance between worship and service, between faith and works. A balanced diet of the whole Word of God helps us to maintain a balanced life.

It is the Holy Spirit of God who empowers and enables us to keep things in balance. Before Peter was filled with the Spirit, he was repeatedly going to extremes. He would bear witness to Christ one minute and then try to argue with the Lord the next! (Matt. 16:13-23) He refused to allow Jesus to wash his feet, and then he wanted to be washed all over! (John 13:6-10) He promised to defend the Lord and even die with Him, yet he did not have the courage to own the Lord before a little servant girl! But when he was filled with the Spirit, Peter began to live a balanced life that avoided impulsive extremes.

What is the result of spiritual growth? Glory to God! “To Him be glory both now and forever.” It glorifies Jesus Christ when we keep ourselves separated from sin and error. It glorifies Him when we grow in grace and knowledge, for then we become more like Him (Rom. 8:29). In his life and even in his death, Peter glorified God (John 21:18-19).

As you review this important epistle, you cannot help but be struck by the urgency of the message. The apostates are here! They are busy! They are seducing immature Christians! We must be guarding, growing, and glorifying the Lord, making the most of every opportunity to win the lost and strengthen the saved.

Be diligent! The ministry you save may be your own.

Evolution: Blind Faith

Scientists who reject the concept of a Creator God agree that all living things exhibit evidence of design.

Dr. Michael Denton, a non-Christian medical doctor and scientist with a doctorate in molecular biology, concludes:
It is the sheer universality of perfection, the fact that everywhere we look, to whatever depth we look, we find an elegance and ingenuity of an absolutely transcending quality, which so mitigates against the idea of chance. Alongside the level of ingenuity and complexity exhibited by the molecular machinery of life, even our most advanced artifacts appear clumsy. It would be an illusion to think that what we are aware of at present is any more than a fraction of the full extent of biological design.

Without intelligent input to increase information, natural selection will not work as a mechanism for evolution.

Denton confirms this when he states:
It cannot be stressed enough that evolution by natural selection is analogous to problem solving without any intelligent guidance, without any intelligent input whatsoever. No activity which involves an intelligent input can possibly be analogous to evolution by natural selection.
A Christian states:
What we see in God's world agrees
with what we see in God's word.

What kind of faith is Christianity then? It is not blind faith as some may think. In fact, it is the evolutionists who deny the Creator who have the blind “faith.” They have to believe in something (i.e., that information can arise from disorder by chance) which goes against real science.

Only the Bible gives the true and reliable account of the origin of all basic entities of life and the entire universe. And over and over again, the Bible’s historical account has been confirmed by archaeology, biology, geology, and astronomy. No contradiction or erroneous information has ever been found in its pages, even though it was written over hundreds of years by many different authors, each inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Scientists from many different fields have produced hundreds of books and tapes defending the Bible’s accuracy and its claim that it is a revelation to us from our Creator. It not only tells us who we are and where we came from, but it also shares the good news of how we can spend eternity with our Lord and Saviour. Take that first step and place your faith in God and His Word.

So Who Created God?

God has always existed—nobody created Him. God is the Self-Existent One—the great “I Am” of the Bible. He is outside time; in fact, He created time. Think about it this way: everything that has a beginning requires a cause. The universe has a beginning and therefore requires a cause. But God has no beginning since He is beyond time. So God does not need a cause. There is nothing illogical about an eternal Being who has always existed even though it might be difficult to fully understand.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
Romans 1:20 (NKJV)

God's Word

Some people say the Bible is full of mistakes. Yes it is! The first mistake was when man rejected God. Don't make that same mistake! People say men wrote the Bible. Of course men did! It didn't just evolve! God used men as instruments to pen his Word to humanity. For the Bible to make sense you must be born in the spirit. You must have God open you to understand it.

Don't Give Up!

The darkness will find you. Let it try!

John 1:5
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.

John 12:35
"My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you."

Psalm 18:28
The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.

1 Peter 2:9-10
You are royal priests(a royal priesthood), a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

"Once you had no identity as a people;
now you are God's people.
Once you received no mercy;
now you have received God's mercy."

Reborn Christians Listen!

Titus 3:3-7
Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.
But -- "When God our Saviour revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life."

Let Us Pray

Father,
Thank you for your Word. Thank you that you haven't left us wander aimlessly in the dark hoping that we've figured it out. But that you have provided, preserved, and protected for us your self of relation in the Bible. So that we can know who you are, and who we are, and what it means for us to be reconciled to you. I pray that you grant us wisdom, and humility to hear and to head your word.
I pray this in Christ's name and for his sake.
Amen!

Worthy Is The Lamb

From what we know, God is unpredictable and we will be disappointed. But these disappointments should teach us something, we would never learn from our mistakes if we never made any! God is constantly testing us, even if it makes us angry, frustrated, and disappointed. He tests us so that we may learn what He wants for us. He loves us so much! He just wants the best for us!
So understand that the world isn't perfect, no one is perfect. We all make mistakes and break the law. We are human, it's expected since the beginning. Like the first battle in heaven, angels were free to make their own decisions because God loved them so much that He wanted them to see how good and right He is. When Lucifer had the chance to show God how evil man can be, God gave him the opportunity. Evil was created by God because He was so caring to show how good He is. We would never have known right from wrong if we never knew God. We wouldn't know the law unless it was appointed to us.

All goodness in the world comes from God, and sometimes disappointment. The goodness of God would not be seen if evil wasn't present. We all can be good, but we can choose to do wrong.
Adam and Eve didn't want to reveal their sin to God. But as good and just God is, He kicked them out of the garden that He created from His love for Adam.
We have been revealed our sins so that we would understand God, be so humble to Him, and be thankful that God had shown us the shame that sin will bring to our hearts.
God has written the law on our hearts, but it is up to us to repent and ask for his mercy, but most importantly accept Jesus Christ as our saviour, the one born of a virgin woman, a perfect man.
The LORD God, the giver of life, came to us in the flesh in Jesus Christ to take the judgment of our sins. Jesus went through great torment and anguish before his crucifixion. Born to be our King pure of heart, sinless(1 Peter 22) to show us God's love to strengthen our faith, and to die for us. He loved us so much to take the punishment and shed his blood for us. For hours of iniquity on the cross he took the full penalty for our sins. The ultimate penalty of death for our salvation.
The same judge that condemns us has provided for us a way to escape from eternity of damnation.
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believes on him is not condemned: but that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

God offers you the gift of everlasting life.
Please take this seriously! We never know when we will die, and when it comes to your time, which can be any day, will you be ready? Don't you owe it to Him? Choose life and live! Put your trust in Jesus and turn away from the shadow you hide under.

The table may only seem clean in the dim light, but the flaming torch reveals the dust. You can wash away the dust from the table, but as soon as you're finished the dust in the air will grasp to the table.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs are used more than almost anything else to indoctrinate children and adults in the idea of millions of years of earth history. However, the Bible gives us a framework for explaining dinosaurs in terms of thousands of years of history, including the mystery of when they lived and what happened to them. Two key texts are Genesis 1:24-25 and Job 40:15-24.

Genesis 1:24-25
24Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Job 40:15-24
15 “Look now at the behemoth, which I made along with you;
He eats grass like an ox.
16 See now, his strength is in his hips,
And his power is in his stomach muscles.
17 He moves his tail like a cedar;
The sinews of his thighs are tightly knit.
18 His bones are like beams of bronze,
His ribs like bars of iron.
19 He is the first of the mways of God;
Only He who made him can bring near His sword.
20 Surely the mountains nyield food for him,
And all the beasts of the field play there.
21 He lies under the lotus trees,
In a covert of reeds and marsh.
22 The lotus trees cover him with their shade;
The willows by the brook surround him.
23 Indeed the river may rage,
Yet he is not disturbed;
He is confident, though the Jordan gushes into his mouth,
24 Though he takes it in his eyes,
Or one pierces his nose with a snare.

According to evolutionists: Dinosaurs first evolved around 235 million years ago, long before man evolve. No human being ever lived with dinosaurs. Their history is recorded in the fossil layers on earth, which were deposited over millions of years. They were so successful as a group of animals that they eventually ruled the earth. However, around 65 million years ago, something happened to change all of this—the dinosaurs disappeared. Most evolutionists believe some sort of cataclysmic event, such as an asteroid impact, killed them. But many evolutionists claim that some dinosaurs evolved into birds, and thus they are not extinct but are flying around us even today.

There is no mystery surrounding dinosaurs if you accept the Bible’s totally different account of dinosaur history.

According to the Bible: Dinosaurs first existed around 6,000 years ago. God made the dinosaurs, along with the other land animals, on Day 6 of the Creation Week Genesis 1:20–25, 31). Adam and Eve were also made on Day 6—so dinosaurs lived at the same time as people, not separated by eons of time.

Why Such Different Views?

How can there be such totally different explanations for dinosaurs? Whether one is an evolutionist or accepts the Bible’s account of history, the evidence for dinosaurs is the same. All scientists have the same facts—they have the same world, the same fossils, the same living creatures, the same universe.

If the “facts” are the same, then how can the explanations be so different? The reason is that scientists have only the present—dinosaur fossils exist only in the present—but scientists are trying to connect the fossils in the present to the past. They ask, “What happened in history to bring dinosaurs into existence, wipe them out, and leave many of them fossilized?”

The science that addresses such issues is known as historical or origins science, and it differs from the operational science that gives us computers, inexpensive food, space exploration, electricity, and the like. Origins science deals with the past, which is not accessible to direct experimentation, whereas operational science deals with how the world works in the here and now, which, of course, is open to repeatable experiments. Because of difficulties in reconstructing the past, those who study fossils (paleontologists) have diverse views on dinosaurs.5 As has been said, “Paleontology (the study of fossils) is much like politics: passions run high, and it’s easy to draw very different conclusions from the same set of facts.”
Dinosaurs: Faded away

A paleontologist who believes the record in the Bible, which claims to be the Word of God, will come to different conclusions than an atheist who rejects the Bible. Willful denial of God’s Word (2 Peter 3:3–7) lies at the root of many disputes over historical science.

Many people think the Bible is just a book about religion or salvation. It is much more than this. The Bible is the History Book of the Universe and tells us the future destiny of the universe as well. It gives us an account of when time began, the main events of history, such as the entrance of sin and death into the world, the time when the whole surface of the globe was destroyed by water, the giving of different languages at the Tower of Babel, the account of the Son of God coming as a man, His death and Resurrection, and the new heavens and earth to come.
The Bible: History book of the universe

Ultimately, there are only two ways of thinking: starting with the revelation from God (the Bible) as foundational to all thinking (including biology, history, and geology), resulting in a Christian worldview; or starting with man’s beliefs (for example, the evolutionary story) as foundational to all thinking, resulting in a secular worldview.

Most Christians have been indoctrinated through the media and education system to think in a secular way. They tend to take secular thinking to the Bible, instead of using the Bible to build their thinking (Romans 12:1–2; Ephesians 4:20–24).

The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7) and “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).

If one begins with an evolutionary view of history (for which there were no witnesses or written record), then this way of thinking will be used to explain the evidence that exists in the present. Thus, we have the evolutionary explanation for dinosaurs above.

But if one begins with the biblical view of history from the written record of an eyewitness (God) to all events of history, then a totally different way of thinking, based on this, will be used to explain the same evidence. Thus, we have the biblical explanation given above.

Are There Other Ancient Records of Dinosaurs?

In the film The Great Dinosaur Mystery, a number of dragon accounts are presented:

  • A Sumerian story dating back to 2000 BC or earlier tells of a hero named Gilgamesh, who, when he went to fell cedars in a remote forest, encountered a huge vicious dragon that he slew, cutting off its head as a trophy.
  • When Alexander the Great (c. 330 BC) and his soldiers marched into India, they found that the Indians worshipped huge hissing reptiles that they kept in caves.
  • China is renowned for its dragon stories, and dragons are prominent on Chinese pottery, embroidery, and carvings.
  • England and several other cultures retain the story of St. George, who slew a dragon that lived in a cave.
  • There is the story of a tenth-century Irishman who wrote of his encounter with what appears to have been a Stegosaurus.
  • In the 1500s, a European scientific book, Historia Animalium, listed several living animals that we would call dinosaurs. A well-known naturalist of the time, Ulysses Aldrovandus, recorded an encounter between a peasant named Baptista and a dragon whose description fits that of the small dinosaur Tanystropheus. The encounter was on May 13, 1572, near Bologna in Italy, and the peasant killed the dragon.

Petroglyphs (drawings carved on rock) of dinosaurlike creatures have also been found.

In summary, people down through the ages have been very familiar with dragons. The descriptions of these animals fit with what we know about dinosaurs. The Bible mentions such creatures, even ones that lived in the sea and flew in the air. There is a tremendous amount of other historical evidence that such creatures have lived beside people.

My Variable
It might sounds bias to use the Bible for evidence. But its strictly bias to not use other options of evidence other than theory. We all use the fossils and what we find on earth for evidence. But why not a book of history; the history that is the missing link in the evolutionary gap? The Bible is the only other option, that's why scientists continue to lie and make up their own story, and fail to patch up the missing link. We can use the evidence of the present and the past, but still fail to link them together.
We can conclude from the Bible some answers from the book of Genesis such as how the creatures and people that didn't make it into the Ark had to have drowned by the flood, leaving fossils scattered all over the earth, even on top of mountains; proving evidence of a massive global flood. Evolutionists will continue to try to patch up the missing link(which is already given in Genesis), but remain skeptical to find it themselves with the lack of historical evidence provided by theory.

GOD The Rock

Many churches lack discipline, which leads to people making their own rules of the church instead of following God's rules of the church.
What is your personal sensuous motif of God? Think about that before thinking about why you go to church. Is it to glorify God?

Psalms 62:2
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken.

Science vs Religion vs Faith

There is not ONE piece of evidence from science that can give a water-proofed argument. Scientists are "still working on it." The theory is utterly breaking down. They won't take the option of creation as evidence. The Holy Bible has never changed. It has been rewritten several times, but only to be translated into different languages, especially from Olde English to the modern English.

Christianity has also broken down; into different denominations where you can pick and choose what feels right to you. But the scripture in the Bible has never changed. People just twist the words into their own belief, replacing God into their own liking, breaking the first and second commandment. Hypocrites! We as human beings with our freedom of choice change so many times in our life. We may change our image of God when we refuse God's Word in the Bible.

There was nothing religious about my conversion into a Christian. Religion can be unreasonable. It's easy to fall into the dogma of religion if you don't keep your mind on God and reading the Bible constantly with consistency. The image of our God can be shaped and shifted to whatever you feel like it should be if you don't follow the instructions of the LORD (scriptures) yourself.

Religious practice teaches us to do good works, or rely on a day to get us to heaven. Just opening the Bible and reading the scripture once a week at church is self sacrificial. You can't woo God over with good deeds and religious acts. This is not a romantic relationship. Jesus is not your romantic lover.

We should be intimate with the LORD but not in some sexual or sensual way. Don't get me wrong. We are supposed to be intimate with Him, but in a Biblical and an intellectual relationship with Him.

We must be saved by faith alone in Jesus. That is the difference between religion and faith. We don't rely on going to church or on a day to getting us to heaven. Faith alone in Christ everyday; reading your Bible, and simply repenting can only save you. Love God with all your heart, mind and strength and keep His commandments. If you don't keep your faith, you can lose it!

Blindess of Faith

Some people can be blinded of faith, but others could be blinded by faith.
Being blind in faith can lead to extremism and unreasonable debates that will lead to a never ending resolution. There has to be a line between the unbelievers, agnostics, and the faithful. Both share their own beliefs, but if one side doesn't take in favour of both logic, they would be only be dogged by single-mindedness of their own beliefs.

Acts 20:30
Even some men from your own group will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw a following.

So many evangelists would preach the scriptures back to the atheist without reasoning with his conscience. An atheist has his own morals that he has grown up with. We all have regardless of the teachings from the Bible. Everyone has come from a different background that we cannot change by just applying the Gospel. We must look deep into their hearts, find out who they are, and relate to them before sharing our faith of our LORD with the Holy scriptures.
Take this into account for the next time you decide to witness to someone who just won't listen. It's not worth your time, nor theirs.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind...

Not everyone can be right. We can't be afraid to judge, because the time will come when God is forgotten and we believers will have to judge the world. (1 Cor 6:2)

Do Not Judge Others

Matthew 7:1-6
"Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others.* The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged." *
"And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye* when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye."
"Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy.* Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you."

7:2a
For God will judge you as you judge others. 7:2b The measure you give will be the measure you get back. 7:3 Greek your brother’s eye; also in. 7:4 Greek your brother. 7:6 Greek Don't give the sacred to dogs.

1 Corinthians 4:3-4
As for me, it matters very little how I might be evaluated by you or by any human authority. I don't even trust my own judgment on this point. My conscience is clear, but that doesn't prove I'm right. It is the LORD himself who will examine me and decide.

Extremist Evangelist

The Bible is only a step off the pedal to a faithful righteous life with our loving God.
Arrogance gone too far can push backsliders and unbelievers further than before. It's downright offensive!
I have learned this from almost losing a friend because of my faith by pressuring too much of the Gospel on them, and not giving into account the consequences until it was too late. Look to your lips, watch what you say.

Proverbs 17:14
Starting a quarrel is like opening a floodgate,
so stop before a dispute breaks out.

Titus 1:10
For there are many rebellious people who engage in useless talk and deceive others.

Titus 3:9
Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual genealogies or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time.

1 Corinthians 3:3
For you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn't that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren't you living like people of the world?

2 Timothy 2:4
Soldiers don't get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them.

2 Timothy 2:14
Remind everyone about these things, and command them in God's presence to stop fighting over words. Such arguments are useless, and they can ruin those who hear them.

2 Timothy 4:3-4
For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

Let's Fish!

My favourite quote,

Matthew 4:19
"And he said to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."

This means that if you follow him, he will show you how to fish for people! (Witness to people) He'll show you how to throw out the bait into deep waters and reel in the fish! So, let's spread the Gospel!

Salvation In The Ark: Genesis

Genesis 6:13-14 (KJV)
"And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Make you an ark of gopher wood; rooms shall you make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without pitch."

*The Greek definition for pitch is atonement.

17
"And behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, form under the heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die."

He will give us His Word to spread upon the earth, so that we don't have to die from His wrath.

21
"And take to you of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to you; and it shall be for food for you, and for them."

The food is the word of God, and we are to gather it into our minds, and spread it throughout the world.

Chapter 7:16
"And they went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in."

We can also turn to the new testament in the book of Matthew chapter 4, where Jesus refers to the food saying, verse 4,
"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

The LORD God, flooded the whole world. The Ark was the salvation and water proofed by atonement. God closed the door and saved Noah from the destruction to come by the flood.
Only
true believers can come into the Ark for salvation and only God can close the door.

Good-Bye Atheists

The Christian carries around a deep and heavy sorrow. He is like a man who sees villagers happily living beneath a great dam. He has seen cracks in the dam and he knows that they will soon die if they don’t move from where they are living. But the villagers refuse to believe his warning, and even mock his every word. His sorrow is that their deaths will be totally needless.

I know that when I say goodbye to my loved ones for the last time, I will see them again at the resurrection of the just and the unjust. If you want that incredible consolation, stop doubting, and take a long and honest look at the Ten Commandments. They are going to justly damn you forever. Then take a long look at the Savior on the cross. That’s what can save you completely. Then move out of the sinful village of this world, through repentance and faith in Jesus. When your sins are forgiven, instead of having God against you, "God will be with you"

Atheists Morality

An Atheist asks, "Why should we follow the Bible?"

He continues to say,

"You don't need God to explain our morality.... it comes from a convention."
"You don't need a transcendental code to explain the neurons of our moral centre."
"Yet just because I appeal to a rationality, and I appeal to my senses, and I appeal to my inner thoughts, I'm saying that a thing that has a loaded association with so many other things such as a transcendental being that gives it.....
(Interrupted but continues...)
This is a fact, when we look to the transcendental meaning God, or mystical or justification, it doesn't adequately explain why we should follow it! It doesn't mean that we should follow God... to follow the code."
"The large reason for morality is to keep us alive, and that's a fact!"
"Other living beings have social systems."
"The Bible is just a doctrine thought up by a man."
"Those scriptures were written by a man."
"Even if the commandments were the ten commandments and God was real, and even if you as far as saying that you should follow them.... even if you go into the world to find a reason why to follow them, and why you should be moral, and why we should do something, you're never gonna be able to give a reason why you should follow Him.... and explain a motivated reason to follow it, you will never give a reason for all the pieces of the puzzle."

How about monkeys and dogs, could you consider that they make decisions on their own law of code?
Absolutely NOT!
We were created from the image of God!

Are the commandments made just to keep us from dying?
Yes! Not only mortally, but immortally to live an everlasting life after death. The problem is that we will die some day. That's a fact!

Matthew 3:10
"Even now the ax of God's judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire."

Not only the Bible tells us, but once we repent and accept the Holy Spirit, we will be shown the commandments and understand His will for us. Jesus paid our fine and took the sinners death for us so that we will be saved and given everlasting life. God knows all of your sins, even your secret ones! So, accept Him, thank Him, and repent your sins! (Matt 3:2)

When you are told about your sins, you might get angry because the judgment describes yourself. We don't like when our secrets are revealed. Judgment shows us our sins, our nature! The antidote is repentance of sin.

Matthew 3:12
"He is ready to separate the chaff from the wheat with his winnowing fork. Then he will clean up the threshing area, gathering the wheat into his barn but burning the chaff with never-ending fire."

Allow him to clean up your life and take away the evil in your heart, and save you from damnation. He loves us so much, He wants to save us!

Jesus said, You must not test the LORD your God. (Matt 4:7)

Don't wait until it is too late, you never know if you die today, or tomorrow. Repent today, right now, and turn away from your sins! Ask Jesus into your life and trust in Him. God will give you His righteousness and cleans you from your sins, and give you a new heart, a new mind, and a new understanding of the Bible. Don't listen to the Devil, and say, I'll do it tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow. If you hear God speaking to you, do it now!

Looking Beyond Our Disappointments

Ever wanted to ask God, Are we there yet?
God gives us principles (the scriptures) to help us understand why He puts us through disappointment in life. How do we respond to them? Is an emotional response to our failure to fulfill our goals and desires. That stalls us on our track and derails us from our focus on God.

Please read John chapter 11 "The Raising of Lazarus"
Here are some principles to learn from this passage.

First Principle:
God has a purpose for allowing the disappointments of our life.

Our disappointments don't have anything to do with God not loving us. God is loving us. Do you know why? Because it's all God does for us.

Second Principle:
God is more interested in our spiritual growth than relieving us from disappointments.

We don't get stalled, we don't get derailed. We use every disappointment as a stepping stone to learn, and to move forward in God's purpose in our life.

Our Living God

"God created man in his own image" (Gen 1:27)

God created us for Himself.

"You must not have any other god but me." (Exo 20:3)

We cannot create God for ourselves.

You Can't Handle The Truth

"You want answers!" "I want the truth!" "You can’t handle the truth!" It's one of the most memorable pieces of dialogue in movie history. The egotistical and self-righteous Colonel Nathan Jessep would later angrily admit to the arrogant and brash JAG Officer, Lieutenant JG Daniel Kaffee, that he broke military law. Colonel Jessep believed he was justified in violating the law. He got up from the witness chair and began to march out of the courtroom, as if he was above the law and the authority of the court. But the judge ordered him detained by military police, telling the colonel, "You aren’t going anywhere!"

Colonel Jessep's courtroom outburst in a Hollywood film illustrates a sad reality. Most people cannot handle the truth—the truth about themselves. Most people consider themselves good and they easily justify their actions. Do you consider yourself to be a good person? If you do, then ask yourself the following questions and answer them honestly.

Have you ever told a lie?
Have you ever stolen anything?
Have you ever taken God’s name in vain?

Then, according to God’s Law (The Ten Commandments), and by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, blasphemer at heart. Every lawbreaker will one day find himself or herself standing before God, the righteous Judge. The verdict will be "guilty." And, like Colonel Jessep, you will not be able to justify yourself, assert your innocence, and leave the courtroom.

Instead, having been found guilty of breaking God's Law, the sentence will be "death"—eternity in the torment of hell. The good news is that God doesn't want to send you to hell. So, He sent His sinless Son, Jesus Christ—God in the flesh. He took upon himself the punishment you rightly deserve for your sins against God when He shed His innocent blood and died on the cross. Three days later, He defeated death when He rose from the grave.

So, what must you do to be saved? You want answers? You want the truth? You must recognize that you cannot save yourself and escape God's judgment. You must confess your sins against God, repent (turn away from your sins), and put your trust in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation. Repent and place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, right now. You will pass from death into life and receive the free gift of eternal life.

Please consider these things carefully. Can you handle the truth?

I See Dead People

Millions of people presently walking upon the face of the earth are dead and they don't realize it. You may be one of them. To find out if you are among the living or the dead, honestly answer the following questions.

Have you ever told a lie?
Have you ever stolen something?
Have you ever hated someone? Jesus said that you have committed murder in your heart by harboring anger or hatred toward someone.
Have you ever taken God's name in vain?

Then, by your own admission, you're a lying, thieving, murdering, blasphemer at heart. You are guilty of breaking God's Law (The Ten Commandments). Not only does God see you as guilty; He also sees you as dead in your trespasses and sins (Eph. 2:1). Finding you guilty of breaking His Law, He will sentence you to eternity in hell, as the just punishment for your sins against Him.

Although tragic, there's good news. Two thousand years ago, God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, to take upon Himself the punishment sinners rightly deserve for their sins against a holy God when He shed His innocent blood and died on the cross. Three days later, He defeated sin and death when He rose from the grave.

As a result of Jesus Christ's perfect life and shed blood, you can have peace with God, have your sins forgiven and inherit eternal life, but you must be "born again" (John 3:3). Being born again is a supernatural work that only God can do when He transforms your heart and gives you new desires. Once you are born again, God will enable you to repent (turn from your sins) and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.

Please consider these things carefully. When you stand before God, you do not want to be counted among the dead; but those who have received the free gift of eternal life that only He can give.

Please read Mark 8:34, John 14:6 and Matthew 10:34-39.

Can A Jew Believe In Christ?

Isaiah 53

Who has believed our message?
To whom has the Lord revealed his
powerful arm?
My servant grew up in the LORD's presence like
a tender green shoot,
like a root in dry ground.
There was nothing beautiful or majestic about
his appearance,
nothing to attract us to him.
He was despised and rejected--
a man or sorrows, acquainted with deepest
grief.
We turned our backs on him and looked the
other way.

Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;
it was our sorrows that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a
punishment for his own sins!
But he was pierced for our rebellion,
crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
All of us, like sheep have strayed away.
We have left God's paths to follow our own.
Yet the LORD laid on him
the sins of us all.

He was oppressed and treated harshly,
yet he never said a word.
He was like a lamb to the slaughter.
And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,
he did not open his mouth.
Unjustly condemned,
he was led away.
No one cared that he died without
descendants,
that his life was cut short in midstream.
But he was struck down
for the rebellion of my people.
He had done no wrong
and had never deceived anyone.
But he was buried like a criminal;
he was put in a rich man's grave.

But it was the LORD's good plan to crush him
and cause him grief.
Yet when his life is made an offering for sin,
he will have many descendants.
He will enjoy a long life,
and the LORD's good plan will prosper
in his hands.
When he sees all that is accomplished by his
anguish,
he will be satisfied.
And because of his experience,
my righteous servant will make it possible
for many to be counted righteous,
for he will bear all their sins.
I will give him the honors of a victorious
soldier,
because he exposed himself to death.
He was counted among the rebels.
He was counted among the rebels.
He bore the sins of many and interceded
for rebels.

"Why Are There So Many Different Religions?"

It has been said that religion is man's way of trying to deal with his guilt. Different religions have different ways of attempting to rid their adherents of sin and its consequences. They fast, pray, deny themselves legitimate pleasures, or chasten themselves, often to a point of inflicting pain. They do this because they have a concept of what they think God (or the gods) is like, so they seek to establish their own righteousness, being ignorant of God's righteousness.
The Good News of the Christian faith is that no one need suffer the pains of religious works. Christ's blood can cleanse our conscience from the head works of religion (Hebrews 9:14). Jesus took our punishment upon Himself, and He is the only One who can save us from sin and death. Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

Focus On The Prize

Always focus on the Word of God and His promise for us.

1 Corinthians 7:17-19
"Each of you should continue to live in whatever situation the Lord has place you, and remain as you were when God first called you. This is my rule for all the churches. For instance, a man who was circumcised when he became a believer should not be circumcised now. For it makes no difference whether or not a man has been circumcised. The important thing is to keep God's commandments."

Now Is The Time To Repent

We never know when Jesus will come, and God kept that in mind so that we would keep busy and always be focused on Him. Jesus never told us when he would return because God had a plan. If we knew we had a scheduled time limit till we are judged, we would just wait till the last minute to repent. If we knew, we wouldn't care! We wouldn't live our lives as righteous as He wanted. His grace would not allow us to belong in Heaven if we were not truly cleansed and given our whole trust in Him. We are His slaves and are intended to act accordingly. Don't wait till it's too late! Repent NOW!

1 Corinthians 7:21
"Are you a slave? Don't let that worry you -- but if you get a chance to be free, take it."

Standards in Christian Culture: Part 3, The Modern Church

Sadly, multitudes of professing Christians lose their joy when the flight gets bumpy. They are the product of "man-centred" preaching.
Because the Law is rarely used in modern day evangelism, many pastors are frustrated and make the Gospel man-centred in an effort to attract converts. They don't see men and women embracing the Good News, so they turn to man made methods.

Ministers gently woo sinners to the altar with the "every eye closed and every head bowed" approach. Then, as the music gently plays, the preacher asks, "Why not ask the person next to you to come with you so Jesus can fill that God-shaped vacuum within his heart?"

We try to seduce them that Jesus will make them happy. In fact, we use every method to bring people to Christ except the method God has obtained -- the Law as a "schoolmaster" to bring them to Christ!

Hell's Best Kept Secret
Author and Pastor, Ray Comfort

"All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution."
2 Timothy 3:12

"We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God."
Acts 14:22

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous."
Psalm 34:19

"In the world you will have tribulation."
John 16:33

"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad(the road that leads to destruction), and it's gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, andonyl a few ever find it."
Matthew 7:13-14

"Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter."
Matthew 7:21

Modern Evangelism is becoming theologically liberal. Preachers seem to teach that if you do good works, you will be blessed and saved. It doesn't say this anywhere in the Bible. You cannot bribe your way into God's Kingdom.

Instead, we should be telling the sinner the law. If a person is sick and you know they are, wouldn't you want to tell them? We are just letting them die if we don't tell them that they are sick. We as the body of Christ should let the sinner know what damnation lies ahead for them in their path if they continue to sin. If you really care for your sibling, spouse, parent, friend, co-worker, neighbour, whoever it is you care about, let them know. Then, they will only realize what is wrong, and they will want to know how they can cure their disease. If the sinner doesn't think that they have been doing anything wrong, they will not care why Jesus gave his life for us. Tell them about the jump: that "And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, " (Hebrews 9:27)
After they have understood that, they should repent, and accept Jesus' blood for their sins: "so also Christ died once for as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people." (Hebrews 9:28)

Seeking The Truth

A French monarch proposed the prosecution of the Christians in his dominion and an old statesman and warrior said to him,

“Sire, the Church of God is an anvil that has worn out many hammers.”

"So the hammers of infidels have been pecking away at this book for ages, but the hammers are worn out and the anvil still endures. If this book had not been the book of God, men would have destroyed it long ago. Emperors and popes, Kings and priests, princes and rulers have all tried their hand at it; they die and the book still lives.”

Those who truly search for the truth, they'll find it, and they'll know that God exists.

Nelson Glueck, an Archeologists said,

“In all of my archaeological investigation I have never found one artifact of antiquity that contradicts any statement of the Word of God."

We're all sinners and are condemned to death. But God sent His one and only son to teach mankind more about the Himself and His law. Jesus took the punishment and died for our sins to give us eternal life. That is true love. We can earn that as long as we learn the gospel, repent our existence to Him and surrender our works to Him.

Jesus said,

“My enemies are like the wildest of beasts who can never get their fill or remain at rest. Their heart is so empty of my love that the thought of my passion never enters it. Not once from their heart of hearts has a word like this escaped: “Lord, you have redeemed us, may you be praised for your bitter passion!” How can my Spirit dwell in people who have no divine love for me, people who are willing to betray others for the sake of getting their will? Their heart is full of vile worms, I mean, full of worldly passions. The devil has left his dung in their mouths; that is why they have no liking for my words. And so with my saw I will sever them from my friends. There is no worse way to die than to die under the saw. Likewise, there is no punishment in which they will not share: they will be sawn in two by the devil and separated from me. I find them so odious that all their adherents will also be severed from me.”

Science vs Religion

(Edited on August 7th 2011 for accuracy)

Science and religion are unresolvable differences. The conflict between faith and conditional thinking is irrelevant because both describe reality.

Sciences respond to a felt need to understand the world, and religions respond to a felt need for the world to have meaning. I already understand the world, and now I am learning more about the need to have meaning in life. Everyone wants it. We naturally seek affection.

There are two ways to think about science. You can be a theist, believing that behind the veil of randomness lurks an active, loving, manipulative God, or you can be a materialist, for whom everything is matter and energy interacting within space and time. Whichever metaphysical club you belong to, the science comes out the same.

(The philosophical and religious beliefs of most of the following individuals mentioned below are unknown except Einstein who believed in Spizona's god and Stephen Hawkings who believes in aliens! Some may be taken out of context before I checked the full information. But I'm just making a point about the conflict between the biblical and materialistic or naturalistic thinking. It's irrelevant because both describe reality.)

Owen Gingerich said,

"One can believe that some of the evolutionary pathways are so intricate and so complex as to be hopelessly improbable by the rules of random chance, But if you do not believe in divine action, then you will simply have to say that random chance was extremely lucky, because the outcome is there to see. Either way, the scientist with theistic metaphysics will approach laboratory problems in much the same way as his atheistic colleague across the hall."

Albert Einstein said,

"After religious teachers accomplish the refining process indicated, they will surely recognize with joy that true religion has been ennobled and made more profound by scientific knowledge."

"Everyone who is seriously interested in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe—a spirit vastly superior to man, and one in the face of which our modest powers must feel humble."

"I view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views."

Anon said,
"There can never be a conflict between true science and true religion, because they both describe reality."

Peter Atkins said,

"Science is almost totally incompatible with religion."

Mark Friesel said,

"The difference between faith and a conditional reliance on observation of the natural world is profound. It is the unresolvable difference between religion and science."

Charles Darwin said,

"To suppose that the eye could have been formed by natural selection, seems I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree."

George Gallup said,

"I could prove God statistically; take the human body alone; the chance that all the functions of the individual would just happen, is a statistical monstrosity."

Sir Isaac Newton said,

"Atheism is so senseless."

Stephen Hawking said,

"It would be very difficult to explain why the universe should have begun in just this way, except as the act of a God who intended to create beings like us."

With all our advancements in technology, Granite is the only rock we cannot make. Granite has polonium in it. Polonium 2-18 has a half-life of about 30 minutes. One kilo of polonium 2-18, and 3 minutes later you have half kilo, and another 3 minutes you have a quarter of polonium, and so on. Polonium 2-18 was encapsulated within 30 minutes of it coming into existence. Therefore, indicating earth could have been created in an hour.
However, polonium can be produced with uranium. How was it that the polonium was there without what was there to create it? We hear scientists saying all to many different things, it's so often difficult who to believe. Try to think of something that doesn't exist. God, where did that come from? Where did these preachers get the idea? God has put His knowledge of His existence into every human being. How can we believe in an ancient book? Maybe we are reading it wrong. Surely with all the popularity on finding the answers, we are bound to come to some answers.

The revere father of evolution,
Charles Darwin wrote Origin of Species and Descent of Man
He wrote,

"The chief distinction in the intellectual powers of the two sexes is shown by man attaining to a higher eminence in whatever he takes up than woman can attain, whether requiring deep thought, reason, or imagination, or merely the use of the senses and hands."

He is saying man has evolved more intellectually over women. Charles Darwin was even racist, he wants us to believe that black people are not as evolved as whites.

Sir Arthur Keith the physical anthropologist and physicist said,

"Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it only because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable."

There is a big gap between two transitional versions on species is called the missing link. In the fossil records, there are thousands of bones missing to prove the evolutionary process of a species to the next. For example, the neanderthal man, anthropologists took some bones and put them together to make this man, from finding only a single tooth!

Like a scientist conducts and experiment in his lab. We like to test if the Bible was right or find out when we die. Why do we test God's Word? Why wait till we die to test Him?

Fear

You're rowing a boat and you're about to go over the waterfall. Jesus is throwing you a rope, but you want to save yourself. You're getting closer and closer to the edge. All you need to do is drop the ores and grab a hold onto the rope.

We all dwell on fear. We like to jump off cliffs, out of planes, ride roller coasters, and race cars at 200 miles an hour. If you have nothing to fear in life then you will end up dead. And when you come to God's judgment and you've broken His laws and never accepted Jesus for hi sacrifice, then where do you think you'll go? You've broken the law and disobeyed God. Where do you think he'll send you? There is no pivoting point, there is Hell of Heaven. The problem with a lot of Christians is that they don't believe in Satan's domain; Hell. That's a big mistake! What is Hell to you? You don't want to make the most important mistake of all eternity. This is your life. When you die, and you never repented, you will not have an eternal life. Why would you believe that you deserve life? What have you done to earn an eternal life? There are no extra deeds to save you. When we have a near to death experience, why do we automatically pray to God? Why do we turn to God when we are at the end of our rope? We are terrified what will happen to us after we die. Many people are not ready for death. They fear what will happen because they are unsure. There is no assurance to what happens to you. So why not leave for fears with Jesus and let him take care of your worries. The Holy Spirit will help give you faith and confidence whatever happens, because God is on our side.

Baptism is extremely important. It is an expression of your obedience. That's what I have learned. It is not just a religious ritual, but a witness to show you physically offer your obedience to God.

Jesus dwells within us. We should commemorate his sacrifice, dedication, teachings, and love for us. It takes courage to accept him and not fear what others think.

For 800 years people sacrificed lambs blood. 600 years before Christ came, Moses told us that the Messiah was coming. So 600 years went on and nothing happened. Then David was told us that the Messiah had arrived. The one who was to show us the way of God was finally here. And Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary for our sins. He never cried to God that he didn't want to die, he wasn't afraid! He embraced his cross and knew what he was going to die for. So that we can live a sinless life. He taught us how to love each other, to live with the Holy Spirit. As long as we accept Jesus into our lives and fear the Lord, because no man on earth can harm us after we are gone. A man can kill you, but he can't do anything else to you after that. You are God's child.

How To Prepare For Battle: The Cycle

Skeptics will ask us anything to try and make us upset or just to prove a mindless point. Intellectuals are the professionals in asking questions.
We need to give them something to think about. We can't always give them full throttle material from the scriptures if they don't understand it in the first place.

First, we should use logic and reason. Relate to them with something human. Such as the example about the parachute. If you ask them, where everything comes from to the point of the universe's existence and the big bang theory, they will not be able to give you the answer. I know I don't and no one has ever given evidence that God doesn't exist! It's inevitable! This is the cycle that goes round and round. But there are answers for every question; physiological, geological, theological and of course logical. Just keep them on the same page with you!

The disciples in the Bible didn't look around on earth to find the answers for God. They turned to God for their answers. There is no answer you will find from anything which man discovered or any product of thinking, such as, philosophies, that will comprehend the significance to why we are here.

You will find Him if you go to Christ. God will show you the way if you follow Christ and not earthly things. God didn't lack the moral to forgive us. But He let His one and only son to die for our sins, to pay our fine, and to pardon us. Jesus took responsibility for our convictions and justified the penalty with his blood.
An irresponsible religious leader would say; let us sin so that we feel God's grace. But a truly converted Christian will want to serve Him more. - Ray Comfort

There Is A Life Beyond What You Can See

Col 1:15
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation.

Some people just don't appreciate the gift of life. What do you think happens when you die? Where will you go? How was everything created? Where did the big bang come from? Did it all happen by chance, or did someone create it? These are just a few questions worth thinking about.

Don't go over your head now asking where God came from! I used to think about that, but took in consideration that it doesn't matter because I'm just glad He gave me life!

Standards in Christian Culture: Part 2, Sunday Schools

Sunday Schools today have a problem. The problem is how the Bible stories are taught these days is that no one compares them with geology and logic. Do Sunday schools only teach the stories and then expect the children to learn the other stuff at regular school? If that's true, the children learn at school about "the truth" then come back to Sunday school saying that "Hey, this isn't true!" That happens because Sunday schools don't explain for example how Noah could fit all the animals in the ark. This is why the new system fails.

The Believer and Believing: Part 3, Prepare

2 Timothy 4:2-5
Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favourable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.

Luke 12:8-12
Jesus was warning his disciples against hypocrisy...
"I tell you the truth, everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, the Son of Man will also acknowledge in the presence of God's angels. But anyone who denies me her eon earth will be denied before God's angels. Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
"And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don't worry about how to defend yourself or what to say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said."

We must practice the word of God and be ready when we are questioned or attacked. Be ready to show why Jesus is the way. Show how different Christianity is to other faiths.
We must perceive that Jesus is Lord and remind fellow Christians His word.

Our Rebel Christ, Jesus

Luke 12:37-44
Jesus Criticizes the Religious Leaders
As Jesus was speaking, one of the Pharisees invited him home for a meal. So he went in and took his place at the table. His host was amazed to see that he sat down to eat without first performing the hand-washing ceremony required by Jewish custom. Then the Lord said to him, "You Pharisees are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy--full of greed and wickedness! Fools! Didn't God make the inside by giving gifts to the poor, and you will be clean all over.
"What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore justice and the love of God. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things.
"What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you love to sit in the seats of honor to the synagogues and receive respectful greetings as you walk in the marketplaces. Yes, what sorrow awaits you! For you are like hidden graves in a field. People walk over them without knowing the corruption they are stepping on."

We are rebels! That's the wonderful thing about being a Christian. Being a Christian has nothing to do with lifestyle or living better. It has to do with the difference between living a forsaken life to a forgiven life.

Ready For The Jump?

If someone was about to jump off a bridge, would you stop them?
Take this, you were on a plane and the flight attendant gave you a parachute. The pilot calls over the radio and says, the plane is going to crash and everyone should put on their parachutes because the engines stopped and we are going to crash. Would you jump out of the plane without your parachute?

Jesus came to teach us and forgive us of our sins. He paid our sins in His death so that we would be saved. If we never know Jesus, we will perish.

How can the Bible be any clearer about God's rules?

We Desire to Walk With God

Matthew 7:13-14
The Narrow Gate
"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell* is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it."

*Greek The road that leads to destruction.

Judgment Day

The clock is ticking! Are you ready for God's judgment? No matter what you believe, you will be judged before God. If you have been saved and you're standing in front of the throne of God --
the one who is absolute glory and all of what is righteous and truth -- will you be ready?

The Believer and Believing: Part 2, Trust

Jesus said to the four fishermen,
"Follow me and I will make you fishers of men."

We have to just listen to God and follow his plan. Drop whatever we are doing and do what God wants us to do, not what we want to do. In order to stay to His plan for our life, we have to adjust in our feelings and attitude to stay in the will of God. You must put your full trust in Him. Put the old life behind and start new -- a life worthy of God.
This crisis of faith is always an issue because God doesn't always give us the details. Faith is all about placing our trust in God. If you truly believe in Him, you will make the adjustment to trust Him. He confronts us of what He wants us to do and we have to trust that He makes these decisions the best for us. Just look at what the fishermen would have missed out on if they were not willing to make adjustments in their life to follow Jesus.
Trust God and you will be blessed!

The Believer and Believing: Part 1, Courage

You will be prosecuted for your beliefs and people will judge you. This is not new. It has always been happening and Christians will always be prosecuted for preaching the Gospel and Word of God.

Ephesians 4:22-32
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Chapter 5
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person–such a man is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
“Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

Be very careful, then, how you live–not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Adolescence

Teenagers have a lot issues they have to deal with growing up from childhood into adulthood. They are trying to find guidance and a meaning to life and a feeling of belonging. They have of questions but they aren't getting their answers through all the distractions in life. TV shows, music videos, and movies are some of these distractions that prevent any help for teenagers and their questions about life.
We can help them by showing them the way of the Christ Jesus--the truth and the light.

1 John 5:4
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
John 6:27
"Do not labour for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."
John 6:35
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

Kids want to know the truth. They will seek out the truth if they know there is a way to find the answers.

Standards in Christian Culture: Part 1, Religion

There are many people who are looking for something spiritual but are tired of all the religions. It doesn't mean that you can't believe in God and Jesus Christ. I am not asking you to come into religion, but to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Accept something bigger.

Maybe in a past experience with Christianity there was a Christian who discouraged you. They might have judged you or prosecuted you and did not give you a good witness to the Christian life. Maybe you had an uncomfortable experience at a Church. You might feel like believing in different than any religion and not follow any of them.

In Jerusalem, Jesus was in a place full with temples where people would go to God to pray, ask to be saved and blessed. Unlike those organized religions, Jesus instead sought out to the people on the street and basically walked up to them and saved them. The elders didn't like this because he was just some outsider bringing the gospel that was never heard of about God into people's lives differently than the way they taught people. He was preaching to people the way of God instead of how they did in the temples. It was a non-religious approach. It was almost like a rebellion against the organized churches they had back then. Jesus was going out of his way, against society and the teachings from the religions, to spread the truth -- the truth about God.

If you seek Him, or are seeking something spiritual, don't be afraid to read the Bible and learn the way of Jesus Christ. It will at least be very inspiring and knowledgeable. The scripts and verses from the Bible are very beautiful. At least if you've tried it, you'd have a more understanding to the Christian life and inspiration to believe in God.

As defined, culture generally refers to patterns of human activity and the symbolic structures that give such activities significance and importance.

Religion is not the same as knowing God. There are religious people who call themselves Christian but do not have an intimate relationship with God or accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Jesus has given us the answers to live abundantly for the Lord! So live for God, and not for the stuff fabricated by society.

Our Intimate Relationship With God

Sometimes we need to put the book down
and just listen to what God has to say.
God still has the power to speak to us intimately
and not just through the words of others.
The right encouragement will come to you
when you just let Him speak to you.
Let Him in to your heart and tell you
what is best for you on a personal level.

He Is Real

After talking with my dad tonight about faith, I did some thinking. People want something real. People won't believe in something unless it feels real. They cannot grasp the teachings of the Lord if they don't have any concrete evidence of his workings.
For example, a person won't believe in ghosts if I told them a story about someone else's experience, but they might after I tell them my own experience. The same applies sometimes with getting to know the Lord. Some people need some feedback on a real experience with God. If you just read some scriptures from the Bible, they might just say "Oh that's just written in a book." But, if you give them something real to think about, it might help.

You could use scriptures to help others understand. I remember when I first started reading the Bible I couldn't put it down. I still read, maybe not pages upon pages, but sometimes just a few minutes. I read because there is a special force inside me (the Holy Spirit) that keeps me motivated and interested, and yearning to learn more about what the Lord wants me to do. Some non-believers will think that it's just brainwashing. They don't know what it's like to want to learn more and more about the way of Jesus and what the Lord wants from us. Some people might think it's just a trick to make people feel like they will get a prize at the end of the rainbow if we just live the way the book says. But, this isn't any ordinary book, it's powerful, and the Lord's words are very powerful. Just look at how popular the Bible is and all the churches we have around the world, and even in our communities. God is so powerful He will move heaven and earth to show you He's real. He will open your eyes and show you the truth and He will never, and I mean never let you down! He wants us to worship Him because He loves all of us and wants what is best for us. You're just wasting your eternal life, your soul and happiness if you want to live life your own way. The world and the things in it have drawn people away from the Lord. We were only given one chance to live. So, why waste our fate, our only chance to be a good sheep to the Shepherd, throw away a whole chance of eternal happiness and bliss by listening to Satan's false promises? Life has so much offered to us to learn about the Lord and to worship Him the best we can. There is no perfect human being, so take the challenge. No one said life would be easy. Why give up on the fortune of a life time? Get to know the Lord and you will not need or want anything else. Stuff won't match the happiness that awaits you from God.
I have my own true story to tell about my experiences, and especially my first experience of repentance to God. If you really want to know just ask me!
Oh, He is definitely real!

it's time to start a new

It's time to start my new life when I get home.
Find my own way.
Keep following the path God sends me through.
This is my own life.
Like God's mysterious ways, they might not like it,
but its the way it's supposed to be.
